The Bismarck was a German World War II battleship commissioned on August 24, 1940. It was the largest Kriegsmarine ship next to its twin "Tirpitz". On September 28, 1940, Bismarck made her maiden voyage. She was sunk on May 27, 1941, during a naval battle.
The special EXECUTIVE EDITION of the famous battleship Bismarck has been expanded with a figure of a German captain in a distinctive uniform. In addition, part of the deck can be removed to see the detailed design of the engines. The set also includes two black plates containing the name of the ship, scale and basic technical data. The plates can be attached to the display block stand.

The USS Pennsylvania and USS Arizona were two battleships launched during the Great War. During their service, the ships underwent modernization. Both Pennsylvania-class ships were present at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. During the raid on the USS Arizona there was a catastrophic detonation. COBI, together with the Deutsches Marine Museum, has created a unique commemorative set in Honor of the museum exhibit! Seehund (Type XXVII B) was a midget submarine produced in Germany at the end of World War II. Designed in 1944 and manned by a crew of two, it was used by the German Navy in the final months of the war. One of the few surviving ships is exhibited in the Deutsches Marine Museum.
The block U-Boot TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" was developed in 1:72 scale. The 1:144 scale used so far for submarines turned out to be too small for such a small submarine. The use of the 1:72 scale made it possible to reproduce the characteristic shapes of a real ship. All graphic elements are high-quality, durable prints. The Higgins Boat model made of COBI construction blocks faithfully reflects its historical inspiration, maintaining the popular 1:35 scale. The block boat is a completely new structure, designed from scratch. The model is 36cm long. It has an opening ramp and a detailed full hull. The set includes movable elements such as two machine guns with covers and a mechanism for lowering and raising the front ramp based on a cable system. We didn’t forget about such details as the rudder, turbines and the opening hatch with the outline of the engine underneath, either. The set uses permanent prints only. Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP) or the Higgins Boat was a type of landing craft used during World War II and later to transport and land supplies, small vehicles and soldiers. They were used on a massive scale during D-Day (June 6, 1944) and in Operations Torch in North Africa, Husky, Shingle and Avalanche in Italy, as well as in combat in the Pacific in the Battle of Guadalcanal, the Gilbert Islands, the Philippines, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
The Higgins Boat was designed by Andrew Higgins. Various manufacturers produced over 20,000 of these units. Most of the structure was built mainly of plywood, which made the boat very cheap and easy to build, extremely light, but at the same time it did not provide any protection against gunfire. Thanks to the flat bottom, a special lowered front ramp and the drive cover, it could reach any shore, even very shallow ones. The barge could carry a 36-person army platoon on board. In the case of transporting a small vehicle such as an off-road vehicle, it could also accommodate about 12 soldiers or 3.6 tons of cargo. The landing craft reached speeds of up to 12 knots (14 mph, 22 km/h). The boat was also armed with two machine guns operated by two gunners.

German transport aircraft manufactured from 1931 to 1952, at first with a single engine and later with three engines. During the 1930s and 40s, it saw both civilian and military service flying as a passenger and freight carrier for twelve commercial airlines including Lufthansa and Swissair and with the Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport and even for a short time as a bomber. The Ju 52 nicknamed 'Aunt Ju' and 'Iron Annie', continued to fly well into the 1980s with military and civilian air fleets. 4,845 aircraft were built.

COBI
The BF 110D was a very popular twin-engine fighter-bomber aircraft of German construction from the Second World War. Produced between 1938 and 1945 it had several versions. Starting with the B version, it was equipped as standard with 4 MG 17 and 2 x MG FF 20mm rifles mounted on the front of the nose and a single MG 15 mounted on a movable station at the end of the fuselage and operated by a radio operator. It was successfully used during the September and French campaigns. The 110 later took over the role of a bomber. The COBI building block model has many moving elements like the rotating wheels with rubber tires, movable propellers and flaps. In the cabin we put two full-size figures of pilots. The brick model was produced with beautiful pad-printed markings, which it used during operation in the Mediterranean Greek campaign. For the first time ever, COBI offers the most modern French fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The Dewoitine D.520 was designed and built in 1938 at the Société nationale des constructions aéronautiques du Midi. The Dewoitine D.520 was a single-seat all-metal low-wing fighter aircraft. The production of the aircraft was not interrupted by the surrender of France in 1940. Later copies were made for the needs of the Vichy government, the Air Force and the Italian, Bulgarian and Romanian armies. Polish pilots defending France were equipped with 26 aircraft of this type during the German invasion in 1940. A total of about 755 fighter jets were produced. The design proved to be so good that the aircraft remained in service after the war until 1953.

The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine basic WWII night bomber. After October 1940 it was also used by the Polish aviation in Great Britain. This extremely successful plane was produced from 1937 until the end of the war in 1945. It was created in many different variants which differed in equipment but not in the basic design. Due to their low manoeuvrability, the Wellingtons flew mainly at night. They were also perfect for coastal patrolling and as submarine hunters. Additionally, they were famous for their high resistance to damage sustained in combat.
The British Vickers Wellington bomber was precisely reproduced from COBI construction blocks in 1:37 scale. The plane is 53 cm long and has a wingspan of 71.5 cm. The design of such a huge model required the use of 1,162 bricks. The set also includes precise prints that do not rub off during intense play. The Supermarine Spitfire is the most famous British fighter of the Second World War. Its design turned out to be very innovative, which made it possible to use the fighter throughout the war. The Lockheed® P-38 LIGHTNING® was a fast and heavily armed American long-range fighter aircraft of the Second World War. This unusual twin-engine aircraft had a nacelle with a pilot's cabin placed between two fuselages. The so-called "flying frame" provided very good performance, which translated into a long production period (which lasted from 1941 to 1945) and a huge number of victories by American pilots. The plane was decommissioned only in 1965.
The P-38 LIGHTNING is released under the original license of the American defence company Lockheed Martin. The Messerschmitt BF 109 was the main Luftwaffe fighter from the Second World War, the most widely produced and in many different versions. Found on every German front of the Second World War, the E-3 version entered production in May 1939. Airplanes of this type took part in the Battle of Britain. The historic prints of the set refer to a machine flown by 22-year-old non-commissioned officer Horst Perez, who, due to a possible engine failure, had to make an emergency landing in a field in East Dean, Sussex. The pilot was taken prisoner, and the repaired plane was tested in the USA and Canada. Currently, the fighter is on display at a museum in Great Britain.
The COBI Messerschmitt BF 109 E-3 is a completely new design adapted to the 1:32 scale. The plane is even bigger and contains more details with the help of 333 COBI construction blocks. The Mitsubishi A6M2 was one of the best fighters in the initial period of World War II. The Navy Deck Fighter Model 0 had no official name. The number 0 represents the end of the year 2600 (on the Japanese calendar) in which the aircraft was designed. Hence the popular term "Zero" invented by the British. The aircraft was designed by engineer Jirō Horikoshi in 1940 on the order of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The model was constantly modified during the war.
The machine was characterized by high speed and manoeuvrability. These features, among others, were achieved at the expense of Armor. A total of about 11,000 copies of this aircraft in various versions were produced.

COBI
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was a US Navy deck fighter from the Second World War built at the Grumman plant. When the US entered the war in 1941, the Wildcats were the US Navy's primary deck fighters and were gradually replacing the older aircraft from the base squadrons. Wildcats were the only fighter protection for the US fleet. In the Pacific, the main opponents of the Wildcats were the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M fighters, popularly known as "Zero".
The aircraft developed by COBI received the historic colours of the pilot who became the first fighter ace of the American Navy! Particularly noteworthy are such historical details as the emblem with the cat Felix and the number of victories placed next to the cockpit.
The plane, designed in a scale of 1:32, was released under the license of the Northrop Grumman aviation company! It has a movable propeller, ailerons and rotating wheels with rubber tires. Initially, the Americans suspected that the plane was a copy of an Italian design and gave it the nickname "Tony" suggesting Italian roots. The official Japanese name was Army Fighter Model 3. More than 3,000 were produced. It was first encountered by U.S. airmen over Yokohama Harbor during the Doolittle Raid on April 18, 1942.

The Douglas™ C-47 Skytrain, also known as the “Dakota” (DACoTA, or Douglas Aircraft Company Transport Aircraft), was one of the most popular transport aircraft of World War II. Produced by the USA, it was also delivered to other Allied countries. It was based on the design of the civil version of the Douglas DC-3. The aircraft was present on virtually all fronts of World War II, and its operation continued long after its end. It was used, among others purposes, for landing paratroopers and towing gliders, as well as for transporting supplies, ammunition and evacuating the wounded.

The Dornier Do 17Z-2 was a German bomber used during World War II. It gained a reputation for being a fast and manoeuvrable aircraft. It was designed and manufactured by Dornier Flugzeugwerke in the 1930s. The Do 17Z-2 version was one of the last variants of this model and was in operation by the beginning of the war. The DO 17 had a crew of 4 to 6 members, depending on its configuration. Its main task was to carry bombs to strategic targets, and its armament consisted of machine guns and cannons. Do 17 planes were used by the Luftwaffe during the European campaign and took part in bombing cities and industrial installations. Production of the Do 17Z-2 ended in 1940, and the aircraft were gradually withdrawn from service.

The Horten Ho 229, also known as the Gotha Go 229, was a German experimental jet-powered aircraft of World War II. Classified as the "Wunderwaffe" (German: Wonder Weapon), it was supposed to be one of the projects that would help reverse the unfavourable course of the war for Germany. The Osprey was jointly developed by Bell Helicopter Textron, which produces wings, engine nacelles with Rolls-Royce engines, rotors, propulsion system, tail control surfaces and loading ramp, and the Boeing Company, which produces the fuselage, cockpit, avionics and controls. The Osprey manufacturing company is called Bell-Boeing. Due to its extraordinary properties, the V-22 Osprey found its way into the equipment of the United States Marine Corps, United States Navy and other services, with the only exception being the US Army. Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVI Bubbletop was one of the variants of the legendary British Spitfire fighter plane used during World War II. Mk. XVI was a modification introduced in 1944, which was characterized by a spherical-shaped cabin (Bubbletop). It significantly improved the pilot's visibility. The plane achieved a high maximum speed of approximately 676 km/h. The armament included two 20mm machine guns and four 7.7mm machine guns. Spitfire Mk. XVI was used mainly as an escort and reconnaissance fighter, taking part in operations on various war fronts. Its improvements, especially in performance and visibility, made it an effective means of air combat late in WWII.

A block model set of the German DR BR 52 Steam locomotive/Ty2 from World War II announces a completely new "Trains" collection from COBI. The block design faithfully reproduces the body, proportions and details of the legendary steam locomotive, which is probably the most popular and most recognizable for all railway vehicles in the world. The exclusive Executive Edition 2-in-1 includes two different sets of additional bricks that allow you to build a model of the German DR BR 52 locomotive with German markings from World War II or a locomotive with Polish markings of the Polish State Railways from the post-war period of the People's Republic of Poland. In addition to various bricks with different symbols, numbering and markings, the set also includes larger front and rear lamps for the Polish construction, selected bricks in different colours, as well as two different figures: a German train driver from the Second World War and a Polish train driver in the post-war PKP uniform with a characteristic state emblem (the Polish eagle with the royal crown removed by the communists).
The locomotive model was designed in 1:35 scale and features numerous details like symbols, numbering, markings and numerous prints inside the engine room of the locomotive. Thanks to the easily removable roof of the engine room, you can look inside to see the faithfully reproduced details of the devices and instruments used to drive the vehicle. As with a real steam locomotive, the entire engine and tender is coupled together in such a way that it moves simultaneously. Inside the model there are gears forming a complex mechanism ensuring realistic movement of the wheels and the entire drive. Just gently push the model to move the whole locomotive.
Five different designs of wheels in the locomotive make the model sit perfectly on block tracks and are also able to negotiate turns. It is worth noting that the model is also fully compatible with the block tracks of other brands of blocks. The tender also faithfully reflects its historical inspiration. The BR 52 or Ty2 or Ty42 was a German-built freight steam locomotive, produced in many European factories from 1942 to 1945. It was a very cheap, simple, yet a very reliable steam locomotive. In Poland after World War II, more than 1,200 of these vehicles were used by the Polish State Railways. The locomotive was able to pull freight trains with a total weight of up to 620 tons at a speed of 80 km/h or 1,700 tons at a speed of 50 km/h. The locomotive was also used many times to haul passenger trains.

The most widespread version of the Leopard family is the 2A4 model. This German tank was sold to other countries including Austria, Chile, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Norway, Holland, Spain and Singapore. This tank was created with a support of The Panzer Museum in Muster. This new construction block model from COBI has a rotating turret, a cannon that moves up and down, operable trapdoors at the front of the vehicle and bonnets at the back.
